Safety
Event Officials: All participants must follow the instructions of event officials (T2T staff and volunteers). For participants’ safety, no: strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, roller blades, bicycles, recumbent bikes, bags of any kind, water bottles, Camelbaks, any kind of hydration backpack, weapons of any kind or dual use items that could be considered dangerous, no firearms, knives, mace, poles, umbrellas, flag poles, Scott Air Packs, child carriers, weight vests, animals, self sticks, GoPros, or drones.
T2T reserves the right to change the details of the event, including delaying, canceling, or suspending the race due to inclement weather or other potential safety risks. Participants must retire at once from the race if ordered to do so by event officials, medical staff, or any governmental authority, including firefighters and police officers.
If you encounter a participant in distress, please dial 911 and report to the nearest event official, security, or law enforcement officer.
Sportsmanship: Any participant who conducts him- or herself in an unsportsmanlike manner or who is offensive in action or language to event officials, other participants, volunteers, or spectators may be asked to leave the course.
We must do our best to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants. We ask that these basic rules be followed on the course.
- Walkers are asked to do their best to stay to the right at all times.
- Runners are asked to stay to the left.
- If you are slowing down or stopping (especially in the Tunnel) raise your arm to alert those behind you.
- Avoid running or walking with more than three persons side by side. We understand that many participate as a team, but an effort must be allowed for others on the course to safely pass you.
- If someone behind you says, “On your right,” move to your left. If someone says, “On your left,” move to the right and allow the runner to pass.
Participant Entry and Race Bib
Event Application: All participants must provide accurate information, including age, gender, and emergency contact information, when filling out the event application.
Race Bib: Your official participant bib (running number) must be fully visible at all times, worn on the front of your torso, and attached at all four corners. The timing device (B-Tag) is attached to the back of your running number; in order to ensure an accurate time, please do not fold or wrinkle the bib or cover it with a jacket or any other item. Participants who run the race without their bib properly attached and displayed risk not having their finish time recorded, not being listed in the results, and/or being stopped by a race official on the course. If your bib is lost on the course, please report it to an event official after the race.
No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred.
The Start
Getting to the start: All registered participants must have their bib in hand by 5pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025; at which time packet pick up closes. Please report to the corral that corresponds to your Wave assignment. Waves 1A through 1E report to their respective corrals on Richards Street via the security checkpoint on Richards Street at Wolcott St. Waves 1F through 2F report to their respective corrals at IKEA, located at 1 Beard Street. All are asked to report no later than 60-minutes prior to your projected start time. Please plan for ample travel time. Any participant who climbs over a barricade or otherwise enters improperly may be disqualified. For participant safety, once a wave is closed for entry, late-arriving participants must report to a later wave. Please follow the instructions of event officials when entering waves.
Race Start: The race will be started by an air horn unless otherwise noted. All participants must be behind the starting line at the start of the race and must follow the instructions of the race starter.
Timing
Official Times: If you purchase a timing chip, your official (net) finish time is recorded by the timing system from when you cross the starting line to when you cross the finish line. After the start has closed, net times will not be recorded.
The Course
Course Marking: Participants must stay within course boundaries, as designated by barriers, traffic cones, delineation, and/or other markings, at all times; must recognize and understand event signage and symbols relating to the course, directions, and facilities; and must follow the instructions of course marshals.
Assistance: Unofficial pacers or other unregistered participants are not permitted.
Non-registered Participation: No individual who is not officially registered may join the event or accompany any participant in the event. Any person without an official bib will be directed to leave the course immediately.
Trash: T2T events are conducted in public places. Please deposit any trash in the provided receptacles.
The Finish
Prohibited Items
For the safety and security of all participants, CELL PHONE USE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED THROUGHOUT THE RUN COURSE. Bib numbers will be noted for violators.
In addition, please note the following prohibited items:
- Strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, roller blades, bicycles, recumbent bikes.
- Bags of any kind; including but not limited to: backpacks, purses, fanny packs.
- Water bottles, Camelbaks, any type of hydration backpack.
- Weapons of any kind or dual use items that could be considered dangerous, including but not limited to: firearms, knives, mace, poles, umbrellas, etc.
- Props, including flag poles, Scott Air Packs.
- Child carriers.
- Weight vests.
- Animals, pets of any kind.
- Selfie-sticks, GoPros, drones.
