Army
Line of Duty Death: April 6, 2018

On April 6, 2018, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Ryan Connolly, 37, and another service member were killed during an aviation training accident on Fort Campbell. Their night vision system failed, causing the aircraft to crash.

CWO3 Connolly, a Manchester, Missouri native, joined the US Army in 2001.

He was assigned to Fort Campbell in 2016 as an instructor pilot.

He is survived by his wife, Sierra, and their two sons, Tristan and Cameron.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the mortgage on the Connolly family’s Clarksville, Tennessee home on Memorial Day 2021.
