Army Specialist

On December 20th, 2016, United States Army Specialist Jason Quinte Garner was killed in a motor vehicle accident on his way to Fort Campbell.

Garner was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated from Lee High School where he wrestled and played football. It was during this time that he also met his wife, Kendriand, at a summer enrichment program that they both attended. Garner attended Alabama A&M University for a short period of time before deciding to enlist in the U.S. Army  in 2009. After being stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Garner coached a little league 6U Basketball team. Garner developed a passion for motorcycles, eventually purchasing a Harley-Davidson of his own and touring the south. 

Garner is described by his family as simply a loving man. He devoted his life to serving his country and providing for his family. Garner was an incredible role model to his children and loved them unconditionally.

U.S. Army Specialist Jason Quinte Garner is survived by his wife, Kendriand, and his children, Kaila, Kingston, and Jaysen.
