Los Angeles County firefighter specialist Tory Carlon died in the line of duty on June 1, 2021, when he was shot and killed by a fellow firefighter after a dispute at the station. Another firefighter was wounded.
Carlon, a 20-year veteran of the county fire department, is survived by his wife Heidi and their three daughters.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage on the Carlon family’s home as part of its 2021 Season of Hope initiative.
