North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections Investigator Samuel Poloche was killed on April 29, 2024 while serving a warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Poloche joined North Carolina’s Department of Adult Correction in 2010 and was assigned to the task force, with 14 years of service before his premature passing.
