Bloom Township Fire Department, Ohio ● Line of Duty Death: March 23, 2022

On March 23rd, 2022, Fire Lieutenant and Paramedic Ralph “Andy” Nunley passed away due to colorectal cancer attributed to his service as a Fire Lieutenant and Paramedic.

Nunley, of Ohio, graduated from Bloom Carroll High School in 1998 before attending Hocking College where he received his degree in Fire Science. Nunley was a proud and beloved member of the Bloom Township Fire Department where he served for over 23 years and retired at the rank of Lieutenant. He treasured spending time cheering on his daughters at their volleyball games, and fishing and riding dirt bikes with his son. Nunley will be remembered by his friends and family for his infectious laugh and his one of a kind sense of humor.

Fire Lieutenant and Paramedic Ralph “Andy” Nunley is survived by his wife, Gretchen, his son, Hank, and two daughters Hannah and Hayley.
