Rafael Ramos

In December 2014, NYPD Detective Rafael Ramos was killed in cold blood in his patrol car while on duty. After hearing this devastating news, Tunnel to Towers committed to raise funds to pay off the mortgages for his family home. The Foundation raised one million dollars in 10 days. The mortgage was paid off, and all remaining funds helped provide necessary repairs and remodeling to his home.
