Atlantic City Police Officer Josh Lee Vadell suffered a catastrophic injury while in the line of duty on September 3, 2016.

Vadell, 34, was shot in the head during an investigation of a robbery at Caesars Atlantic City’s parking garage. He was a nine-year veteran of the Atlantic City Police Department at the time of the shooting.

Vadell currently resides in Egg Harbor Township, NJ with his wife Laura, and his three children.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage on the Vadell family’s home as part of its 2021 Season of Hope initiative.
