Bellevue Police Department Motorcycle Police Officer Jordan Jackson passed away on November 21, 2022 from injuries he sustained after being involved in a vehicle collision while in the line of duty.
Jackson was born in Spokane, Washington and raised in Issaquah, Washington. His childhood was very loving, having been raised alongside his older sister by their supportive parents. As a family, they traveled a lot and participated in family activities. Additionally, Jackson was heavily involved in sports, including soccer, bike riding, snowboarding and surfing. He and his wife, Kelsey, met through a mutual friend while in college. After sharing a connection, the pair began their relationship and were later married.
With a desire to help others, be active, and serve and protect the community in which he grew up, Jackson decided to become a police officer in March of 2018. He loved interacting with people on a daily basis, helping others in their times of need, and being a positive face in the community, particularly for the youth. Jackson had big aspirations, with goals to become a Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor and Defensive Tactics Instructor, as well as join the Bomb Squad and the SWAT Team. After two years of patrol, he was promoted to Motors and most recently achieved his goal of becoming a Field Training Officer. On November 21, 2022. Jackson was traveling on his motorcycle while conducting a traffic enforcement stop when he was struck by a car. The injuries he sustained caused him to sadly pass away several hours later.
Kelsey currently resides in Washington with her young children, Makai and Lennox. She enjoys reading, camping, music, photography, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family. In the future, Kelsey is excited to continue to watch her children grow and ensure that they always know how honorable their father was. The support from Tunnel to Towers is allowing her to remain in the home where she and her husband chose to raise their children. She is eternally grateful. Finally, Kelsey would like others to know that her husband had a zest for life that was rare. Jackson never failed to put his all into everything he did and made sure the people he loved were cared for. He was a family man and his biggest joy in life were his children. He is severely missed.
Bellevue Police Department Motorcycle Police Officer Jordan Jackson is survived by his loving wife, Kelsey, and his beautiful children, Makai and Lennox.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage of the Jackson family home through the Fallen First Responder Home Program.
