Loudoun County Firefighter/Paramedic Jeffrey Rizzo passed away on July 8, 2021, due to a job-related cardiac event.
In 2017, Rizzo achieved his career goal as a professional firefighter/paramedic and proudly served with Loudoun County Fire and Rescue. Rizzo also worked part-time at Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company, Sykesville Freedom District Fire, and volunteered his time at West Friendship Fire Department.
Rizzo is survived by his wife, Jaime Lynn, and his two sons.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the Rizzo family’s mortgage as part of its 2021 Season of Hope initiative.
