Senior Inspector Deputy US Marshal Jared McKane Keyworth passed away on October 1, 2021, after succumbing to injuries from a vehicle crash three days earlier while participating in an enforcement mission.
Keyworth served in the U.S. Army and was tabbed to escort the riderless horse during President Ronald Reagan’s funeral in 2004.
Keyworth, 42, is survived by his wife, Crystal, and his two children.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage on the Keyworth family’s home as part of its 2021 Season of Hope initiative.
