Wesley Pase, team captain for the Shoreham Wading River HS soccer team, has organized a soccer doubleheader to support the Foundation’s programs. Wesley is also Lead Petty Officer for the Theodore Roosevelt Division of the US Navy Sea Cadet Corps. Wesley selected Tunnel to Towers upon reading about what it did for the families who lost loved ones from the 106th Rescue Wing in Iraq. Among those who perished were Master Sgt. Christopher Raguso, a National Guard airman and FDNY lieutenant, and Tech Sgt. Dashan Briggs. The Foundation immediately pledged to pay off the mortgages held on the homes of Master Sgt. Raguso and Tech Sgt. Briggs, raising over $700,000 for this initiative.
