HOME COMPLETED - OCTOBER 2026

United States Air Force Airman First Class Stetson Nash joined the military in 2009, inspired by the legacy of family members who served before him and driven by a desire to provide for his growing family.

Throughout his time in uniform, Nash embraced the camaraderie, purpose, and personal growth that military service offered. The experience shaped him into a stronger leader, both physically and mentally, while allowing him to build lifelong friendships and a deep sense of service to others.

Among his proudest accomplishments is the opportunity to help fellow service members navigate some of the most challenging periods of their lives and get back on their feet. Making a difference for others remains one of the most meaningful aspects of his military career.

Nash’s life changed in an instant when a freak on-duty accident resulted in a catastrophic neck injury, causing fractures to his C6 and C7 vertebrae. The injury left him paralyzed from the mid-chest down, with limited function in his arms, hands, and triceps. Despite the tremendous challenges he faces, Nash continues to focus on recovery and on building a meaningful future.

Today, he channels his curiosity and determination into technology, enjoying the challenge of learning how things work and staying current with emerging innovations.

The support provided by Tunnel to Towers has given Nash far more than a home. It has provided stability, peace of mind, and the opportunity to strengthen the foundation of his family while focusing on what matters most: healing, growth, and the future.

Nash credits his unwavering faith in God as the source of his strength through life’s darkest moments. Refusing to be defined by his injury, he continues to move forward with optimism and purpose, saying, “I’m still here and still building.”

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has provided United States Air Force Airman First Class Stetson Nash with a mortgage-free smart home in the Let Us Do Good Village through the Smart Home Program.  Â
