On Friday, July 17, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Steel Across America tour made its 24th stop in Seattle, Washington, at the Seattle Mariners vs. San Francisco Giants game at T-Mobile Park. Local baseball fans were able to experience the sacred piece of American history first-hand.Â

At the game, United States Army Specialist Tyler Wilson and his family were invited to throw the ceremonial opening pitch. Afterwards, Board Member Tom O’Connor and Stephen Siller Jr. surprised Wilson and his family with the announcement of a mortgage-free smart home to fit his needs.

After being severely injured while on deployment in Afghanistan, Wilson and his family’s reaction of happiness and excitement filled the ballpark with a feeling of great joy.
Tunnel to Towers is honored to support another hero who served this great country.
