The Tunnel to Towers Foundation 9/11 Institute™ visited the 2025 Florida Council for the Social Studies (FCSS) Annual Conference from Friday, October 31 to Sunday, November 2.

Held at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida, the 9/11 Institute engaged with educators about 9/11 education for children in grades K-12 and informed educators about the Foundation’s 9/11 Curriculum and resources. 

In addition to the 2025 FCSS Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, the Institute also attended the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Convention 2025 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 

From Thursday, November 6 to Friday, November 7, the convention was held at the Atlantic City Convention Center where educators across the state had the opportunity to engage in more than 300 professional development seminars, workshops, and programs designed to help teachers and educational support professionals hone their skills and stay current in their subject areas and chosen fields.

The Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Institute™ is the Foundation’s September 11, 2001 education program for grades K-12. It is the go-to resource for educators of all types to get the non-fiction, first-person, and age-appropriate resources they need to teach children across the country about 9/11. The Institute comprises 9/11 Curriculum, the “Discovering Heroes®” Book series, a 9/11 Speakers Bureau, the 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit, and Russell F. Siller Memorial Scholarships.
