Timothy James Clark Jr.

United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Timothy James Clark Jr. passed away on May 3, 2019, from a heart attack due to pre-existing heart conditions.

Clark was born and raised in Bassett, Virginia. As a child, Clark was a musician, playing instruments such as the guitar and tuba. Additionally, he could often be found outdoors fishing, hunting, boating, and camping. Clark and his wife, Natalie, met in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon going on their first date, the pair shared an instant connection and were later married.

In January 2006, Clark joined the USMC as a service to the country he loved. His goals were to increase his rank, serve others, and be a dependable team player. He looked forward to learning new skills and connecting with other service members nationwide. Clark loved the camaraderie among his brothers and sisters in arms. Throughout his career, Clark gained a plethora of achievements and accomplishments, including a Naval Aviation MAF/SCIR Documentation for Calcomic Omas D-555-0038A, Certificate of Training Aviation Fastener Course, Environment Coordinator Training, Certificate of Completion Basic Corrosion, Certificate of Completion Aviation Structural mechanical, Certificate of Completion F/A-18 Aviation Hydraulic/Structural Mechanic.

Currently, Clark’s family lives in South Carolina. Natalie enjoys yoga, walking, running, meditating, and swimming. She is a member of the Beaufort Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International and volunteers at events throughout her community, where she assists in providing a luncheon for adults with disabilities, making donations for the Lowcountry Tow Drive, and supporting local business owners at their ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Natalie is also a licensed massage therapist and operates her small business. She looks forward to the growth of her business over the following years. The gift given to their family on behalf of Tunnel to Towers has led to a better life for Natalie’s children and allowed her to plan for a better retirement and quality of life as she ages. Natalie would like everyone to know that Clark was a wonderful person with a heart of gold who would truthfully and honestly help anyone in need. Clark loved fulfilling the needs of others and felt incredibly rewarded for doing so.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage of the Clark family home through the Gold Star Family Home Program.
