Program Eligibility Requirements
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to honoring the sacrifice of catastrophically injured veterans and first responders by providing mortgage-free, accessible smart homes that restore independence, dignity, and long-term stability.
You may qualify for the Smart Home Program if:
- You are a current or former U.S. service member or first responder who sustained a permanent, service-connected injury
- Sustained an injury that significantly limits your mobility and ability to live independently.
- Served on or after September 11, 2001
- Have a need for home modifications to the extent to which adaptive features and smart home technology would meaningfully enhance your safety and independence.
