The FDNY Boxing Club is a 501(c) non-profit organization. It has donated well over a million dollars to worthwhile charities since its inception in 1982 and $200,000 to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation over the last two years. The club’s motto rings true: “We will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime… for a good cause.”
“We have a special kinship between ourselves and the members of the military who stepped up after 9-11. We enjoy doing what we can to help them. Helping people is in our DNA, and it’s a great event that we can all give back to,” said the President of the FDNY Boxing Team, Bobby McGuire, about why he chose to partner with Tunnel to Towers.
