The Tunnel to Towers Young Professionals Network is dedicated to connecting the younger generations to the mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation through events, fundraising, and professional mentoring to ensure we Never Forget.
“WHILE WE HAVE TIME, LET US DO GOOD!”
In 2018 the YPN was founded by 11 young professionals whose life and work experience was varied and diverse but they all shared a passion for participating in and fundraising for the annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk NYC. Since then we have continued to grow and expand our network allowing us to better support the Foundation in their mission and programs.
The work of the YPN is carried out through three committees and supported by our Executive Board.
Events & Marketing Committee which is responsible for coordinating & developing impactful content & events while providing marketing support to all other committees.
First Responder Committee which supports the first responder and military community by engaging with communities via social media, service projects, and support at third-party events.
Recruitment Committee leads our efforts in expanding the group while also facilitating the interview and onboarding process for new members of our network
If you’re a young professional (21-40) with a passion for supporting our soldiers and first responders and dedicated to ensuring that we Never Forget the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001, then we encourage you to join us!

2020 Tunnel to Towers Young Professional Sunday Funday
Mike Larson is an Infantry Officer currently stationed in Twentynine Palms, CA, and has had the privilege to serve with the United States Marine Corps for almost 9 years. Born and raised in the South Suburbs of Chicago, Mike is the son of a Chicago Police Officer who served his community for 28 years and instilled in Mike a sense of service. Having seen the horrific attacks on 9/11 at such a young age, his desire to serve was amplified as he saw how a tragic event unified the American People. Nearly 20 years later, Mike joined the YPN at the end of 2019 because he saw the great work that the Foundation was doing for the Military and First Responder Communities and wanted to get involved.

However, we all work and come together as one family to do good and support our first responder and military community.”
