Tunnel to Towers Foundation Pays off Mortgage for Montgomery County Deputy Sheriff
Mortgage payoff is part of Tunnel to Towers 4th Annual Season of Hope
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is honored to announce it has paid, in full, the mortgage on the home of Montgomery County Deputy Sheriff Sypraseuth Phouangphrachanh as part of its 4th annual Season of Hope.
Deputy Phouangphrachanh passed away on March 31, 2020, from complications as a result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.
Phouangphrachanh was born in the country of Laos and grew up in Rockingham, North Carolina. He served his community with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for 14 years after previously working for the Candor Police Department.
Phouangphrachanh began his career with the intention to make a difference in the lives of children. He accomplished this mission by serving as a School Resource Officer in middle and high schools.
He is survived by his wife, Heather, and his five children.
Tunnel to Towers’ Season of Hope, celebrates the holiday season by lifting the financial burden of a mortgage from the families of fallen first responders, Gold Star families, and catastrophically injured veterans around the country.
This year alone, Tunnel to Towers will deliver over 200 mortgage-free homes across the country to America’s heroes and their families.
“This holiday season, we honor those families who have sacrificed so much for all of us. To the families who are still grieving the recent loss of a loved one and to those who are enduring another year with an empty seat at the table, Tunnel to Towers is honored to celebrate your loved one’s service and ensure that you and your family can stay in your home forever,” said Tunnel to Towers Chairman and CEO Frank Siller.
Join us on our mission to provide mortgage-free homes to the heroes and the families they leave behind by donating $11 per month at t2t.org.
