Tunnel to Towers Foundation Pays off Mortgage for Fallen Indiana Deputy Sheriff
Mortgage payoff is part of Tunnel to Towers 4th Annual Season of Hope
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is honored to announce it has paid, in full, the mortgage on the home of Carroll County Deputy Sheriff Noah Rainey as part of its 4th annual Season of Hope.
Tunnel to Towers’ Season of Hope, celebrates the holiday season by lifting the financial burden of a mortgage from the families of fallen first responders, Gold Star families, and catastrophically injured veterans around the country.
On January 29, 2022, Deputy Sheriff Rainey was killed in a crash in Sedalia, Indiana while responding to assist during a vehicle pursuit.
His law enforcement career began when he started working for the Tippecanoe County Jail and the Plainfield Correctional Facility. He advanced to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department as a Reserve Officer until 2019 when he became a Sheriff’s Deputy. Rainey was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 123.
Deputy Sheriff Rainey is survived by his wife, Maria, and their two sons. Tunnel to Towers paid off the mortgage on their Delphi home.
“This holiday season, we honor those families who have sacrificed so much for all of us. To the families who are still grieving the recent loss of a loved one and to those who are enduring another year with an empty seat at the table, Tunnel to Towers is honored to celebrate your loved one’s service and ensure that you and your family can stay in your home forever,” said Tunnel to Towers Chairman and CEO Frank Siller.
This year alone, Tunnel to Towers will deliver over 200 mortgage-free homes across the country to America’s heroes and their families.
Join us on our mission to provide mortgage-free homes to the heroes and the families they leave behind by donating $11 per month at t2t.org.
