On Saturday, October 18, 2025, first responder hockey teams faced off for bragging rights in the third annual CitiQuiet Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament, benefitting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Held across three rinks at the Ice Vault Arena in Northern New Jersey, 12-total teams participated in a 15-game, single-elimination format tournament. Last year’s champion, the U.S. Coast Guard, received an automatic bid along with the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), the New York City Police Department (NYPD), and the New York Port Authority Police Department (PAPD).

The remaining eight teams were chosen through a lottery from applicants earlier in the year, including the New Jersey State PBA, New Jersey State Police, United States Secret Service, Nassau County Police Department, Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department, and the New York State Court Officers Hockey Club, among others.

The winner of the 2025 Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament was the FDNY Hockey Team. Over $198,000 was raised by the Heroes Cup players, sponsors, and attendees to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
