Our smart homes
The needs of catastrophically injured service members and first responders are unique. A smart home from our Smart Home Program is designed and constructed to meet the specific needs of its recipients. Smart homes host a myriad of features, such as automated doors and lighting, wider halls and doorways, special showers to accommodate wheelchairs, automatic door locks, cabinets, counters, and stove tops that can be raised and lowered, backup generators, and smartphone or iPad control of the whole house. These homes enable our most severely injured heroes to live more independent lives.
When the call came, these brave service members and first responders answered. Now, it’s our turn to recognize their sacrifices for our country. Your tax-deductible donation will make a significant difference in the lives of these heroes.
