Program Eligibility Requirements
Tunnel To Towers Smart Home Program is designed for veterans and first responders who have sustained catastrophic injuries in the line of duty that permanently impair mobility, independence, or daily functioning.
You may qualify if your injury:
- Severely incapacitates your mobility and activities of daily living
- Requires your home to be modified for more accessibility, with features such as ramps, wider doorways, roll-in showers, lifts etc.
- Would benefit from smart home technology — like voice-activated lighting, automated doors, or other systems that make daily life safer and easier
This program is designed for essential adaptive needs. Eligible applicants must demonstrate that their injury creates a substantial need for specialized home adaptations to support safe and independent living. Our mission is to ensure that every veteran and first responder living with a catastrophic injury has a home that truly supports their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
