HOME COMPLETED - July 1, 2015
On July 14th, 2010, while serving a 12-month deployment in Afghanistan, SSG Adam Keys encountered a roadside bomb. As a result of the explosion, Adam suffered a brain injury, broken bones and an infection in his blood stream that resulted in the loss of both his legs and his left arm. Since the explosion, Adam has undergone well over 100 surgeries on his path to recovery.
Adam is a fan of the New York Jets, the Philadelphia Flyers, plays guitar, enjoys going to concerts and listening to Tom Petty. When asked about how a smart home will impact his life Adam replied, “Getting this home will allow my family and my future family to worry less about me and allow me to be the man I am.”
Adam received his smart home in July 2015.
