On Friday, March 14th, 2025, the FDNY Bravest Boxing Team squared off against First Responders from around the world at the “mecca of boxing,” The Theater at Madison Square Garden for the second International Battle of the Badges.
The energy in the theater was electric as boxers from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Denver, and Yonkers fought fiercely, New York taking the win for the night with a record 6-3. Despite any unfavorable outcomes, all participants were happy to fight for a worthy cause. This year, the fight card featured a record number of female fighters.
The FDNY Bravest Boxing Team presented a donation of $50,000 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, accepted by Stephen Siller, son of firefighter Stephen Siller, and Smart Home Recipient and Foundation Ambassador, US Marine Corporal Scott Nokes.
