The Foundation co-chaired the capital campaign for a residential home providing a temporary haven for orphaned and/or broken teenagers so that they might live productive and fulfilling lives. Stephen’s name on the front of the home high on a hill in Staten Island, New York, gives witness to his love of children and commitment to caring about those in need.

Stephen’s House provides a safe haven for abused and neglected boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 15. The five-story facility includes ample recreational space, a meditation room, a diagnostic center, and 24 single dormitory-style rooms on two residential floors, one for girls and one for boys. Its setting, high on a hill, provides beautiful views of the Narrows and New York Harbor.
