Kat Timpf, co-host of “Gutfeld!” on Fox News, a New York City resident, and wife of a military veteran, has teamed up with Tunnel to Towers to sell “Half Veteran” t-shirts, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Foundation.
The “Half Veteran” shirt originated with Kat’s joke on the ‘Gutfeld!’ show that she is half a veteran because, as she said, “When you get married, everything’s split in half.” She went on to discuss the serious obstacles military spouses face every day.
Timpf and her husband, Cameron Friscia, have a personal connection to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Friscia, a graduate of West Point, went to school with Chief Warrant Officer 3 Stephen Dwyer, who was killed in a helicopter crash over the Mediterranean Sea on November 10, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Allie, and three boys. Through the Gold Star Family Home Program, Tunnel to Towers paid off the mortgage on the Dwyer family home in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Kat Timpf saw the support Tunnel to Towers provided to the Dwyer family and wanted to help with the Foundation’s mission to “do good.” She is giving all proceeds from “Half Veteran” t-shirt sales to Tunnel to Towers and hopes to raise as much money for the cause as she can.
The “Half Veteran” t-shirt sold out quickly and is currently on back order. Preorders can be purchased HERE. Orders will ship in June 2024.
