Proceeds benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation
On Thursday, March 14, 2024, New York City’s Bravest faced off against first responders from across the nation as well as from the UK in the first-ever International Battle of the Badges at the illustrious Madison Square Garden, a 14-Bout Charity Match with proceeds benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Members of the FDNY Bravest Boxing Team were joined by first responders from Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, New York City, Yonkers, and West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom for more than a dozen matches under the bright lights of the Garden.
To date, the FDNY Bravest Boxing Team has donated over $150,000, with $50,000 donated from the International Battle of the Badges alone, to support the Foundation in providing mortgage-free homes to our nation’s most deserving heroes: catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, Gold Star, and fallen first responder families with young children.
