Line of Duty Death: March 22, 2019
Sergeant First Class Will D. Lindsay was killed in action on March 22, 2019 while serving his country in Afghanistan.Â
SFC Lindsay enlisted in the Army in 2004, immediately after graduating from high school.Â
During his 15 years of service, SFC Lindsay deployed seven times: five deployments to Iraq, one to Tajikistan in support of a counter-narcotics mission, and one to Afghanistan.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah, and four daughters, Scotlynn, Evelyn, Richlynn, and Gracelyn.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the family’s mortgage on April 5, 2020 in honor of Gold Star Spouses’ Day.Â
