On April 11, 2012, US Marine Corps Corporal Robby Abraham Reyes was killed in a helicopter crash while serving as the crew chief on the aircraft on deployment in Morocco.

Throughout his life, Reyes had always wanted to join the military and become a Marine. Reyes enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2007 and graduated flight school in 2009, after which he was assigned to the V-22 Osprey. Reyes served as a crew-chief on the V-22 Osprey stationed out of New River, North Carolina. Four years into his enlistment, he set out to serve on his first deployment on the 25th MEU. Reyes was killed just 2 weeks into what was supposed to be an 11-month deployment overseas. Reyes is remembered for his selflessness and desire to help others every chance he got.

US Marine Corps Corporal Robby Abraham Reyes is survived by his wife, Candice, and daughter, Ava.
