He served 10 years in the Army and four years in Special Forces with combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He left behind his wife Elena, and their children Gabriel, Eden, Helen, and Emee. The Gutiérrez family received a mortgage-free home through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Gold Star Program in Crestview, Florida.

“I feel so grateful and blessed to know the kids and I have a home given to us in honor of Jaguar. As a stay-at-home mom it is truly a blessing that I give my kids the love and support they need at this time,” said Elena. She is incredibly grateful to have her mortgage paid-off ahead of the holidays. “ During this season, it feels like looking up to the sky when a storm is passing through and seeing that ray of sunshine shining through the clouds and forming a rainbow. It gives me hope, strength, and most importantly it lets me know my kids and I are not alone or forgotten.”
