Line of Duty Death: November 27, 2018
Eric Emond was killed in action in November 2018 while serving with the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group in Afghanistan. Eric also served in the Marine Corps as a Scout Sniper before his service in the Green Berets.
While home on leave convalescing a severe TBI sustained during an RPG attack in 2009, Eric founded the Massachusetts Iraq and Afghanistan Fallen Heroes Memorial, dedicated to memorializing those sons and daughters of Massachusetts who died in service during the War on Terror.
He left behind Allie and their 3 children, who currently live in North Carolina.
