United States Army Chief Warrant Officer 1 • Line of Duty Death: March 29, 2023

United States Army Chief Warrant Officer 1 Aaron Healy passed away on March 29, 2023 due to being involved in a helicopter training accident.

Healy was born to his parents, Michael and Vicki Healy and raised in Cape Coral, Florida, alongside his older brother, Shaun, and his younger brother, Brandon. His childhood was a typical Floridian one, including the beach, sailboats, BMX, football, bike riding, and fishing. Additionally, he was involved in band, JROTC, and cross country during his time in high school. Healy and his wife, Sierra, met in high school, however, they did not begin their relationship until later while he was on his first deployment.

On April 10, 2010, Healy enlisted in the US Army. He had goals to earn his degree and eventually become a pilot after retiring from the military. In October of 2022, he graduated from flight school and fulfilled one of his dreams of becoming a pilot. Unfortunately, he was involved in a training accident which took his life in March of 2023.

Sierra currently resides in Kentucky with their daughters, Blakelyn and Dakota. She enjoys keeping herself busy, camping, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. Additionally, she is a teacher and is very involved with the students at her school. Sierra is presently obtaining her master’s degree, an integral step in her journey to become a school counselor. The support she is receiving from Tunnel to Towers is allowing her to take time off of her teaching job so she can focus on her degree without having to worry about a mortgage payment. Finally, she would like others to know that she and Healy were the best of friends. He loved his family more than anything and nothing made him happier than going home to his loving wife and his beautiful girls. He is severely missed.

United States Army Chief Warrant Officer 1 Aaron Healy is survived by his wife, Sierra, and his daughters, Blakelyn and Dakota.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage of the Healy family home through the Gold Star Family Home Program.
