Line of Duty Death: June 25, 2019
Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputy Troy P. Chisum, 39, was killed in the line of duty while serving the citizens of Fulton County on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in rural Avon, Illinois.
He was married to his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Amanda, for 20 years. They had three daughters Kyleigh, Abigail and Gracie.
Deputy Chisum loved his community and spent his life protecting it first with the Lewistown Police Department and then with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
He also worked as a Paramedic with Fulton County EMA and as a firefighter with Northern Tazewll County.
