Ronil Singh

Newman, CA Police Cpl. Ronil Singh, a husband and father of a 5-month-old son, was killed December 26, 2018 during a traffic stop. Cpl. Singh joined the Newman Police Department in 2011 and is the first Newman Officer to die in the line of duty. He was 33 years old. Newman Police Chief Randy Richardson remembered Singh as, “an American patriot,” who came to the U.S. from Fiji to become a police officer. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage on the family home.
