Upon responding to an incident in which a subject had possession of a firearm, Jackson and two other officers were shot and killed. He was 32 years old at the time of his passing.

Currently residing in Louisiana, Trenisha enjoys spending time with her son, Mason, attending concerts, shopping, traveling, and planning events. In the future, she is excited to continue to watch Mason grow as watching him thrive brings her so much joy. She is also looking forward to traveling more. Trenisha is grateful to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for providing her with the gift of a mortgage-free home. Finally, she would like others to know that Jackson was an amazing husband and father, a gentle giant who was his family’s protector and provider.
