New York City Department of Corrections Captain Joseph Campbell passed away on July 8, 2021, due to numerous 9/11-related illnesses. The New York, NY native was 51 years old at the time of his death.
Campbell is survived by his wife JoAnne, and his three children.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage on the Campbell family’s home as part of its 2021 Season of Hope initiative.
