McAdory Fire Department, Alabama ● Line of Duty Death: April 4, 2022
On April 4, 2022, McAdory Fire Chief Jeffrey Ray Wyatt passed away from a heart attack after working a shift at the firehouse.
Wyatt had served as a volunteer for McAdory Fire from 1988-2006 where he earned the rank of Volunteer Fire Chief. Shortly after he then completed recruit school in 2006 as the Fire Chief of McAdory. Wyatt proudly served the community for a total of 34 years. Wyatt was known to spend his free time camping, fishing, grilling, and rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
McAdory Fire Chief Jeffrey Ray Wyatt is survived by his wife Katie Ryals along with their children Josh, Zach, Kyden, Khloe, and Adalyn.
