On September 9, 2021, Senior Trooper Jason Lynn Vice of Northport, AL passed away from complications as the result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.
Vice was born and raised in Alabama. He enjoyed hunting during the fall, and going to the beach during the summertime. Vice served for 15 years with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and was assigned to the Highway Patrol Unit at the Tuscaloosa Highway Patrol Post. He had a deep love for his community, and his community loved him right back. He was known for his joyful personality, sense of humor, and always lent a helping hand wherever needed. Vice often distributed State Trooper teddy bears to children in the hospital, and changed flat tires for stranded civilians. Above all else, Vice loved his family. He was an incredible husband and father to his two daughters.
Senior Trooper Jason Lynn Vice is survived by his wife, Jenny, and daughters, Isabella and Lillian.
