After his passing, they honored his legacy by creating the Alberto Felix Post Physical Readiness Test Awards and Records Board, inspired by his physical strength, perseverance and determination no matter what age.

Felix met his future wife, Arlene, while he was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska in the year 2000. They married the next year and went on to have three children: Alyssa Belle, Angeliyah Maya and Aries Trustin. They all share fond memories of their father, hiking, cookouts, Disney World, the Grand Canyon, and more. His faith and love for his family was at the center of everything he did. He put other’s needs before his own. He taught them kindness, sacrifice, and strength. He proudly served his country and his community.
