SUMMARY:2023 All-Star Hula Bowl
DESCRIPTION: \n \n \nThe Hula Bowl www.hulabowl.com is a post-season College Football All-star game. For many\, this is the most important interview of their lives\, as they showcase their skills for the NFL\, CFL\, USFL\, and XFL scouts during Hula Bowl Week. Historically played in Hawaii\, the Hula Bowl is now played on the mainland in Orlando\, Florida\, at the UCF FBC Mortgage Stadium. January 15\, 2022\, saw the inaugural Hula Bowl game in Florida\, at the University of Central Florida Bounce House Stadium. The game received an overwhelming response and support from the Florida community\, as they extended a gracious and warm welcome to our athletes and the Hula bowl coaches and staff. We are very excited to announce that our 2023 Hula Bowl game will be played at the University of Central Florida FBC Mortgage Stadium\, and will be televised on CBS Sports Network\, with a noon kickoff\, on Saturday\, January 14th. \n

What began with 1\,500 people in 2002 is now considered by many to be one of the top 5K runs in America. The event symbolizes Stephen Siller’s final footsteps from the foot of the Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers and pays homage to the 343 FDNY firefighters\, law enforcement officers\, and thousands of civilians who lost their lives on September 11\, 2001. Proceeds from the event support the Foundation’s programs\, including those benefitting first responders\, and catastrophically injured service members. \n[us_btn label=”Register” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fnycrun.t2t.org” style=”4″][us_btn label=”Donate to a Team” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fnycrun.t2t.org%2FRace%2FDonate%2FNY%2FBrooklyn%2FT2TNYC” style=”4″][us_btn label=”Fundraising Resources ” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Ft2t.org%2Ffundraising-resources%2F” style=”4″]

SUMMARY:9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Visits Cheyenne Frontier Days
DESCRIPTION:The Siller Family started the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory and carry on the legacy of their brother\, Stephen\, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11\, 2001 after strapping 60 lbs. of gear to his back and rushing on foot through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers\, where he gave up his life while saving others. \nIn 2013\, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched its 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit; a tribute to all those who lost their lives on September 11\, 2001\, including\, of course\, the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice. The high-tech\, 53-foot tractor-trailer\, which transforms into a 1\,000 square foot exhibit\, is a tool to further educate citizens throughout the country about the events of that tragic day. \nWelcomed around the country\, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds\, the memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers\, documentary videos\, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. Interactive guided tours are carried out by FDNY firefighters who provide firsthand accounts of the day and its aftermath. The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit\, which has traveled to nearly 30 states and Canada\, has welcomed in over 350\,000 people to date. \nThe Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to ensuring WE NEVER FORGET. \nEscort Date 7/21/22 \nLearn More

SUMMARY:9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Visits Wayne County Veterans Memorial Park\, Richmond IN
DESCRIPTION:The Siller Family started the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory and carry on the legacy of their brother\, Stephen\, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11\, 2001 after strapping 60 lbs. of gear to his back and rushing on foot through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers\, where he gave up his life while saving others. \nEscort Date 6/16/22 \nLearn More

SUMMARY:6th Annual Tower Climb at One World Observatory
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 5th\, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation will hold its sixth annual Tower Climb at New York’s One World Observatory. We hope you’ll choose to participate in the event\, and support the Foundation’s mission. The depth of emotion you will feel as you make your way up the steps of the building that symbolizes strength and hope\, and the resiliency and invincibility of the American spirit will be beyond words. Looking down at the two reflecting pools that mark the footprints of where the Twin Towers once stood\, from the 102nd floor\, is a sight to behold. The event pays special homage to all 9/11 heroes and specifically\, FDNY Captain Billy Burke. On September 11\, 2001\, while responding to the attacks at the trade center\, Captain Burke stayed behind to save others on the 27th floor of the north tower\, while commanding other firefighters to get out of the building. He was already aware that the south tower had collapsed. He lost his life moments later. Captain Burke’s selflessness is legendary among those in his profession. Without support and generosity from citizens throughout the country\, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation could not carry out our very important endeavors. The event is limited to 1\,000 participants\, so please register today to secure a position in this very meaningful event. If you have any questions\, feel free to reach us at (718) 987-1931 or to learn more Click Here.

SUMMARY:9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Visits Georgia National Fair
\nLearn More
