SUMMARY:NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Visits Wild Rose Casino & Resort
DESCRIPTION:Times are to be determined and are subject to change. The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory and carry on the legacy of their brother\, Stephen\, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11\, 2001 after strapping 60 lbs. of gear to his back and rushing on foot through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers\, where he gave up his life while saving others. \nIn 2013\, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation created a mobile exhibit as a tribute to all who lost their lives on September 11\, 2001. The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit is a tool to educate America and its youth about the historic events of that day. Welcomed around the country in cities like Dubuque\, Iowa\, Sturgis\, South Dakota\, Tampa\, Florida\, and Waseca\, Minnesota\, the 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit – a high-tech\, 53-foot tractor-trailer\, which unfolds into a 1\,000 square foot exhibit\, serves as a poignant reminder of that tragic day. \nThe memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers\, documentary videos\, recordings of first responder radio transmissions and live tours by FDNY firefighters. Entrance into the exhibit is always free of charge. \nThe Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to ensuring WE NEVER FORGET. \nLearn More \nTimes are to be determined and are subject to change.

SUMMARY:3nd Annual Tower Climb at One World Observatory
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 4th\, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will hold its third annual Tower Climb at New York’s One World Observatory. We hope you’ll choose to participate in the event\, and support the Foundation’s mission.\n  \nThe depth of emotion you will feel as you make your way up the steps of the building that symbolizes strength and hope\, and the resiliency and invincibility of the American spirit will be beyond words. Looking down at the two reflecting pools that mark the footprints of where the Twin Towers once stood\, from the 102nd floor\, is a sight to behold.\n  \nThe event pays special homage to FDNY Captain Billy Burke. On September 11\, 2001\, while responding to the attacks at the trade center\, Captain Burke stayed behind to save others on the 27th floor of the north tower\, while commanding other firefighters to get out of the building. He was already aware that the south tower had collapsed. He lost his life moments later. Captain Burke’s selflessness is legendary among those in his profession.\n  \nWithout support and generosity from citizens throughout the country\, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation could not carry out our very important endeavors. The event is limited to 1\,000 participants\, so please register today to secure a position in this very meaningful event.\n\n

SUMMARY:NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Visits North Charleston Fire Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory and carry on the legacy of their brother\, Stephen\, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11\, 2001 after strapping 60 lbs. of gear to his back and rushing on foot through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers\, where he gave up his life while saving others. \nLearn More

SUMMARY:Joshua Stah's Home Dedication
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, December 23\, 2016\, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will welcome home Army Sergeant Joshua Stahl\, and his wife and five children\, to a mortgage-free smart home built to meet Joshua’s needs in Stark County\, Ohio. In July of 2011\, Joshua suffered the loss of both of his legs above the knee\, amputation of his left index finger\, a traumatic brain injury\, and other serious injuries while on a mission in Afghanistan. SUMMARY:9th Annual Veterans' Day Golf Outing
DESCRIPTION:On Sept. 11\, 2001\, Stephen Siller\, a 34 year old firefighter\, took his final heroic steps as he ran with\nhis gear through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center to help save others. Thousands of\nlives were saved that day\, but this was not to be Stephen’s destiny. The NYC 5K RUN & WALK traces the\nfootsteps he took on that fateful day. In running along his path\, the 15th annual run on September 25th\nnot only honors Stephen\, but also his firefighter brothers and all those who perished on 9/11. On that tragic summer’s day\, 9/11/01\, Stephen had just completed his scheduled tour with the FDNY\, and was traveling to meet his brothers to play a traditional round of golf. However\, he decided to go back and help others\, and unfortunately the innocence of an entire nation died that day. \nTo learn more about Golf Fore America’s Bravest Click Here \nAt three Staten Island Golf Courses; LaTourette\, Richmond County Country Club\, and Silver Lake Golf Course. \nClick here to download the application for our 8th Annual Veterans’ Day Golf Outing.
