SUMMARY:5th Annual Midwest BBQ for the Brave
DESCRIPTION:In 2012\, Jim and Gayla Smith hosted a BBQ in their backyard to raise money for Building for America’s Bravest\, a proud program of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. \nThrough Building for America’s Bravest\, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds specially adapted\, custom designed smart homes to help restore independence and improve the quality of life for our nation’s most catastrophically injured service members. \nJim and Gayla asked for a $20 donation and raised $2000 the very first year. The BBQ has continued to grow\, and has become a highly anticipated annual event at the CD & ME Special Events venue in Frankfort\, IL.

SUMMARY:NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Visits Patriots Point Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory and carry on the legacy of their brother\, Stephen\, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11\, 2001 after strapping 60 lbs. of gear to his back and rushing on foot through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers\, where he gave up his life while saving others.\n\nIn 2013\, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched its 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit; a tribute to all those who lost their lives on September 11\, 2001\, including\, of course\, the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice. The high-tech\, 53-foot tractor-trailer\, which transforms into a 1\,000 square foot exhibit\, is a tool to further educate citizens throughout the country about the events of that tragic day.\n\nWelcomed around the country\, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds\, the memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers\, documentary videos\, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. Interactive guided tours are carried out by FDNY firefighters who provide firsthand accounts of the day and its aftermath. The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit\, which has traveled to 35 US states and Canada\, has welcomed in over 250\,000 people to date.\n\nThe Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to ensuring WE NEVER FORGET.\n\nLearn More\n\nEscort.

The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit\, which has traveled to 35 US states and Canada\, has welcomed in over 250\,000 people to date.\n\nThe Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to ensuring WE NEVER FORGET.\n\nLearn More\n\nTimes are to be determined and are subject to change.

SUMMARY:Golf Fore America's Bravest - New Jersey
DESCRIPTION:On Sept. 11\, 2001\, Stephen Siller\, a 34 year old firefighter\, took his final heroic steps as he ran with\nhis gear through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center to help save others. Thousands of\nlives were saved that day\, but this was not to be Stephen’s destiny. The NYC 5K RUN & WALK traces the\nfootsteps he took on that fateful day. In running along his path\, the 16th annual run on September 24th\nnot only honors Stephen\, but also his firefighter brothers and all those who perished on 9/11. On that tragic summer’s day\, 9/11/01\, Stephen had just completed his scheduled tour with the FDNY\, and was traveling to meet his brothers to play a traditional round of golf. However\, he decided to go back and help others\, and unfortunately the innocence of an entire nation died that day. \nTo learn more about Golf Fore America’s Bravest Click Here \nClick Here to download the application for our 2017 New Jersey Golf Outing at Eagle Oaks.
